چکیده

Abstract Ceramic polymer materials have great future applications in the field of fireproof materials. However, ceramic polyolefins shortcomings such as few available inorganic fillers, high sintering temperature, and low flexural strength. Therefore, achieving rapid ethylene‐propylene‐diene rubber (EPDM) is an urgent problem that needs to be solved. Herein, we prepared EPDM using pyrophyllite aggregate zinc borate flux. The were a mixer sintered muffle furnace at 850 1000°C. strength sinter residue was tested by material testing machine. microstructure changes during ceramification process characterized scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TG), derivative (DTG), differential thermal (DTA), x‐ray diffraction (XRD). results indicated filled with had 2.6 MPa after 850°C. After 1000°C, its further increased up 12.3 MPa. SEM temperature increased, melted space among particles, into dense whole. TG, DTG DTA melting decomposition behaviors pyrophyllite‐zinc mixture changed compared pure borate. XRD process, crystalline structure gradually transformed quartz‐based structure. It promising polyolefin are pyrophyllite/zinc combination.

Dielectric behavior of ceramic–graphene composites around the percolation threshold

Al2O3/graphene and BaTiO3/graphene composites with different concentrations of the conductive second phase, both below and above the percolation threshold, were prepared by the traditional ceramic processing route followed by spark plasma sintering. It is shown that the addition of graphene pins the grain growth of the ceramic matrix grains, leading to a change of the microstructure at low fill...

Sintering properties of zirconia-based ceramic composite

This study examines the effects of different ZrB2 content on various mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of ZrB2/Y-TZP composite. Composites with ZrB2 content of up to 20 wt-% were particularly beneficial at the lower sintering temperature range by achieving greater densification and better hardness than Y-TZP monolith. In contrast to the trends estimated from rule of mixture, the...
